John Wager is a seasoned and award winning producer and director. His most recent endeavor was a feature length film “Comedy Warriors,” starring Zach Galifianakis, Lewis Black, Bob Saget and B.J. Novak. To date, this Showtime Network feature documentary has won top accolades at 5 major film festivals and was voted by Life Changes Network as one of ‘2013’s Top Independent Films That Could Change The World”. Most recently, Comedy Warriors received Television Academy Honors as part of their 7th annual awards. This honor is the highest award that you can win in television for programming with a conscience, that inspires and has the power to change lives. Prior to this, Wager directed “Bicycle Lessons”, a short documentary that was shot in Italy and aired on the Discovery Channel.  Wager has worked with many well-known actors and celebrities over the course of his career including: Kevin Spacey, Oprah Winfrey, Magic Johnson, Reba McEntire, Judy Collins, Katherine Hepburn, Maya Angelou, Kathleen Turner and film-maker Ken Burns. He continues to produce and direct national and regional television commercials and various long format branding and corporate projects. Wager is also a Grammy-award winning producer and composer.

Alex Fortune Kenyon has a passion for all things film, creating stop-motion videos since the tender age of 12. Since then, he has spent years filming, editing, and directing for the large and small screen, which ties in well with his affinity for directing, creating animated logos, motion graphics, and sound design. He has now found himself in his element. In 2012 he was Director of Photography of Comedy Warriors: Healing through Humor, which was awarded the Television Honors Award, Grand Jury Prize at Palm Beach International Film Festival as Best Documentary, and the Audience Choice Award at San Antonio Film Festival as Best Documentary as well as winner for best Documentary at 3 other film festivals. Outside of the studio, Alex loves ice hockey, ice cream, and his record player.

Todd’s interests in visual storytelling began with a childhood obsession for technology and a love for creative writing. Since graduating with a communications degree in broadcast production, he has used these passions to start a career in film. From short form documentaries and narratives to web promos and virtual reality, Todd brings a flexible variety of film making tools to the Galileo team. When he’s not behind a camera or an editing station, you can usually find Todd working under a car or writing op-eds about upstate NY culture. [/team-member]

Zach Durocher Profile Image

Zach Durocher

Production Coordinator / Cinematographer / Editor

Zach is an accomplished editor and videographer. He has a background in communications which makes a great addition to the Galileo team.  Along with working on various award winning films, he brings his insights from communications, advertising and animation to the many creative and commercial projects at Galileo. His love for film extends from thirty second broadcast commercials to full length feature films on the big screen and everything in between.  When not behind the camera, he finds himself hiking and camping in the Adirondacks. He is a graduate of Clarkson University with a B.S. in Communication.

Jumai Yusuf

Editor / Motion Graphics Artist

Jumai’s passion for storytelling began with acting in theater in middle school. She went on to study Neurobiology at Harvard, but left the pre-med track to develop her love for filmmaking into a career. She brings her experience from producing theater productions, webseries, and short films to Galileo Media Arts. When not at Galileo you can find her practicing martial arts, or working on her latest indie project.
